Американская компания Lilliputian Systems, основанная десять лет назад выпускниками Массачусетского технологического института, анонсировала начало продаж инновационной USB-подзарядки для мобильных устройств. Портативная «зарядная станция», размером с пачку сигарет, сможет зарядить смартфон 10-14 раз. Самое интересное, что в качестве энергоносителя используется сжиженный газ (бутан), как в обычных газовых зажигалках.
Если топливная ячейка действительно появится в продаже, то это отличная новость для всех любителей туризма и путешествий. Теперь можно надолго отправляться на природу, взяв с собой пару запасных картриджей с газом. Уже известно, что картриджи будут продаваться отдельно по доступной цене, а их изготовлением займутся производители таких же картриджей для обычных зажигалок.
Спецификации устройства пока не опубликованы, как и стоимость. Формальный анонс состоится в течение ближайших месяцев. Начало продаж в сети магазинов Brookstone ожидается вскоре после этого.
В целом темпы роста продаж идут с приростом к уровню прошлого года.
