Polskie LNG S.A, the company supervising the construction of the first LNG terminal in Poland, expects that bankruptcy of PBG will not delay completion of the import facility construction.

The key part of Gazoport in Swinoujscie has been already completed by the PBG unit, Hydrobudowa, while other Italian, French and Canadian companies are continuing their works.

PBG and its units, Hydrobudowa and Aprivia filed motions for bankruptcy protection, blaming "capital-thirsty road contracts, lack of total payment for the contract on the National Stadium and the prolonged talks with banks over securing financing."

The LNG terminal is located on the eastern bank of the Swina River, approximately 4.5 kilometres from the Polish-German border. Expected to be fully constructed and completed by 2014, it will have the capacity to supply more than one third of Poland's annual natural gas requirements.
Polskie LNG is owned by gas transmission system operator Gaz-System, which in turn is fully owned by the State Treasury.
A consortium of PBG and several other companies are also building the largest underground gas strorage facility in Poland, converted from the depleted Wierzchowice natural gas reservoir. 

 

 Польские новости как всегда контрастные.
Кто-то там вечно банкротится, кто-то методично работает.
А в целом кровавая рука Катара процесс строительства  СПГ терминала в Свиноуйсьце продвигается планово.
Это значит, что в 2016 году от запустится в промэксплуатацию.
Соответствующие поставки из Катара  СПГ вытеснят объемы Газпрома с польского рынка.
Пара слов о Катаре.
На небосклоне экспертов по энергетике Ближнего Востока, появился весёлый эксперт  (мы недавно писали как он с чувством высокого достоинства попадает пальцем в небо) который в экспрессивном стиле К. Симонова пишет про Катар вот   такое   ( и   такое     ЭХО ПЛАНЕТЫ:         06.06.2012 Великая сланцевая революция ).
В таком клоунско- пропагандоновом стиле хорошо писать на этой весёлой площадке а не на "Эхо планеты".
Но сколько на Катар не лай злопыхай, а караван его идёт и  в Польше и по Европе также продолжаются инфраструктурные программы энергетической  диверсификации .
Зачем мы всё тут это пишем?
Я понимаю, что Путин  никогда не назначит на Минэнерго сильную фигуру,  как  Обама Стивена Чу.
Чтобы на реальной  научно обоснованной базе делать энергетику. Тогда как кланы всякие заработают?
Там будет стоять очередная пешка, которая не скажет плохого слова Газпрому, которому нынче надо очень чутко реагировать на события европейских энергорынков.
А Газпрому надо давно реагировать.
И не греметь попусту, даже непонятно кому,  в пространство как Миллер про Голливуд и мифы сланцевого газа.
Кстати о китайском вояже Путина по ШОС. Он был серый. Назарбаев блистал по своему.
Не получается пока пугать Европу Китаем.
Лучше бы готовились к  жесткой конкуренции.
